70+ White-fronted Geese flew downchannel

23rd

Again most birds in the Big Field, 1 Merlin, 9 Grey Partridges, c.60 Skylarks,

8 Song Thrushes, 1 Bullfinch, 9 Yellowhammers and 2 Reed Buntings.

21st

11 White-fronted Geese flying east were new for the year, a solitary Chiffchaff moved along the clifftop.

16th

As usual the same birds in the Big Field 2 Reed Buntings, 16 Yellowhammers, 9 Grey Partridges and an assortment of Skylarks, Linnets and Mipits. At sea there were

87 Red-thoated Divers, 31 Brent Geese and 20+ Auks all moving south.

8th

Around the area were 16 Yellowhammers, 1 Merlin, and 2 Stonechats.

2nd

A seawatch produced very little of note apart from 2 Black-throated Divers, 30+ Auks (mainly Guillemots) and a steady movement south of Kittiwakes.

1st

Brief views of a Dartford Warbler flushed from sow thistles in the Big Field, very little else apart from 2 Stonechats and 7 Yellowhammers.
