Month's summary Highlights of a very dull and cold month were on the 8th an Arctic Skua south with 600+ Herring Gulls on the rocks in the Bay. On the 14th there was a movement of 350+ Guillemots between 0900-1100. On the 22nd 2 Mute Swans north with 27 Red-throated Divers south, whist a Common Seal lounged on the rocks in the Bay,and on 24th a Puffin was seen offshore at 12.15pm. All the month 2 Barn Owls have been seen hunting around the village and a male Blackcap has been feeding in gardens at Kingsdown. |
