Very few migrants today only 63 warblers [26 Blackcaps,4 Whitethroats, 6 Lesser Whitethroats and 27 Chiffchaffs ], 8 Stonechats and singles of Wheatear and Pied Flycatcher.

During the morning 161 Siskins,18 Redpolls and 76 Goldfinches moved upchannel along the clifftop and 11 Golden Plovers flew North West

Friday 23rd September

After a few days of good weather most birds seem to have moved overnight leaving only very few Chiffchaffs, Blackcaps and Whitethroats. The only new arrivals were four Stonechats at Hope Point.
