regularly seen throughout the month with a peak of 30 on the 16th . |

a pair seen on the 24th roosting with the Great Crested Grebe raft. |

1 seen at 17.55 on the 18th. |

present all month with a flock of 23 on the 22nd . |

single birds seen on the 14th and 30th . |
| Tawny Owl |
single birds heard on the 7th and 26th with 2 calling from Winkhurst Wood on the 11th where a pair nested in a nestbox provided for Mandarin Ducks. |

single birds seen on the 12 th and 16 th in the Oast/Winkhurst Green area. |

the bird of unknown origin which arrived on the 30th July was seen for the last time on the 3 rd, when it was seen on several occasions flying up and around the Reservoir.
