Kent Bird Report:
Assitance required and progress on the next report.

Last Update: 19 June 2008

The Bird Report is produced through the voluntary effort of many individuals within the Society and takes many hundreds of hours to produce. Thousands of sightings reported by birdwatchers across the county enable the Report to be compiled. The completed Report represents the true picture of the bird life of Kent throughout an entire year.

We are currently compiling the 2005 report. Assistance is required in a number of areas which are stated below. If you can offer any assistance your input would be greatly appreciated.  Please write to the editor.

Assistance is required in the following areas:

Photos - If you have any photographs suitable for the next report, whether they are good shots of common birds, unusual behaviour, or rarities in the county, can you please send them to the photographic editor - Mike Buckland.

Artwork - If you are able to provide black and white drawings, please contact the editor.

Descriptions of rarities in 2006 - If you have seen a rare bird in the county please send in a description as there are currently more undocumented than documented! Please click here for details of how to submit a description.

Articles for 2006 - We have a few articles in the pipeline but would welcome any ideas or full articles for the 2005 report. If you would like to discuss any ideas you may have please contact the editor.

Thankyou!
