KOS Quiz Night

Tim Loseby, as always put on a thoroughly entertaining evening. Eight teams took part from most quarters of the county. In the most part teams were well behaved although a certain amount of heckling occurred, mainly from those of us who didn't know the answer to some obscure question like "What's the average weight of an Ostrich?". One enterprising team, that obviously didn't rate my tea or coffee, brought a far more interesting looking set of refreshments, but it didn't reach parts that others could as they did not win first prize, although got close.

The winners, and I must say they seemed very quiet and studious throughout, were Chris and Annie Abrams, Mike Henty and Mike Gould, who collected 72 points out of 90ish (bonus points making me forget the precise number possible). Second, a point behind, were the Bockhill Boys with the Saganauts on the same score, but beaten to the draw, due to a fit of dribbling, on a sudden death play of for second place.

Everyone had an enjoyable evening and I would like, once again, to thank Tim for all his hard work, in finding so many fuzzy pictures and obscure questions.
