In flight this 1st year leucistic Black-headed Gull appeared larger than it's accompanying congeners, perhaps closer to Common Gull. The legs and bill are also noticeably more washed out (see last photo for comparison of leg colour). I have seen a complete albino Black-headed Gull in Kent before at Dunes Road, Greatstone and amazingly what must have been the same bird at Elmley a week or two later (not sure of year but it was early May). That particular individual was c10-15% smaller than a normal BH Gull.
