Observers are encouraged to submit any records outstanding at the year end by February 28th of the following year. It will be appreciated that records submitted late cannot necessarily be included in the report for the relevant year. Reports of species that are rare or scarce in Kent require descriptions to be submitted for assessment by the KOS Rarity Panel. A list of species requiring descriptions is available on this Web site and in the Kent Bird Report. Also available on this site is a printable KOSRP Record Form should one be required. This form should be filled out as accurately as possible and sent to the relevant Area Recorder. Alternatively, descriptions may be submitted electronically in the form of e-mail which may include any attachments such as Word documents, photographs, scanned images of notes etc. These should be sent to Barry Wright. A printable form for photographic submissions has been prepared and is available by clicking on the underlined link above.

Any observer who regularly records a local patch might wish to submit records on an EXCEL spreadsheet designed for this purpose by Tim Hodge. If you wish to obtain a copy of this please contact Tim at Tim.Hodge@btinternet.com
