 Events Programme 2008

Sunday 10th Aug: Waders on the move 10am-12 noon

From July to September, Elmley Marshes is an important stop-over for over 20 different species of wading birds, many of which will be migrating from the Arctic to Africa.

Meet at the RSPB Kingshill Farm car park at Elmley.

Sunday 16th November: Winter wildfowl & waders  2-4 pm

The high tide should push hundreds of wintering waders onto the reserve from their feeding areas on the Swale. Here they will join thousands of ducks feeding on the flood.

Such a bird spectacle invariably draws predators like peregrine & merlin.

Meet at the RSPB Kingshill Farm car park at Elmley.

Sunday 14th December: Winter wildfowl & waders  2-4 pm

See Sunday 16th November for details
